I'm lovin' the picture this week for the Edit Me photo challenge over at My Reflection of Something. I know I always say that but, seriously, this picture is so adorable! It was taken by Jamie over at Mommy's Camera. The original shot was so great it would have been really difficult to improve. Instead I went for changing it completely. I absolutely love the colors in the original shot, but I wanted to convert to sepia so that you would focus on the striped knee socks! I just happened to find a paper bag frame in PSE that I decided to put it on. Thought it was cute and, for some reason, fitting! So here is my entry:
Also linking up to Black & White Wednesday at The Long Road to China. I just took this picture this week. It's gorgeous in color (which I attached also) but I decided to convert to black & white just for this photo challenge. I'm VERY happy with it.
I love those torn edges!
ReplyDeleteoh, what a great way to edit the photo! I love the old skool look. :)
ReplyDeleteI am SO excited that you chose to do sepia! I wasn't sure how this photo would look without the colors but you did a great job proving that just because it was a colorful original, doesn't mean that it has to stay in color! Great edit!!
ReplyDeleteyour edit does make the shoes and socks the focus. very unique with the paper bag frame!
