An Aquired Taste...

Since I haven't been out in a few days to take new pictures, I've been working on edits to old photos.  Some people would probably think these were way TOO edited, but they are growing on me.  I'm lovin' the way my lips look in this picture!

I used to think that clear pictures make the photo but I'm learning that isn't always true.  I've seen so many magnificent photographs on other blog sites that it inspired me to keep an open mind.  I think beauty doesn't always have to be so obvious.  On that note, here is my picture.  Since I was less knowledgeable of photography at the time I had taken this, I was convinced this photo could not be salvaged.  Today, however, my blinders are off!  The cool thing about this self portrait is that the dots make it look like I added a texture but I didn't.  Okay, I hate to admit this but, I think they are actually water marks on my mirror.  You would think I never windexed the mirrors in my house.  I actually like that you can see the reflection of my camera flash as well.
