I have a wonderful Pre-K educational product recommendation for you today! I received a LeapFrog Product Kit by Mega Brands in the mail several days ago and I was very impressed with the learning assortment they provided. The activities were both fun and educational at the same time. Apparently, I wasn’t the only one that thought so. Alivia, my 3 year old, has been asking to use it everyday! I don’t think “obsessed” is too dramatic of a word when referring to her persistence to use the products on a daily basis! In fact, her enthusiasm for learning is more than I could ever imagine! She especially loves the activities like the Colors, Shapes & Numbers Book and the Dry Erase Practice Board that require the use of dry erase crayons and a marker! The dry erase writing utensils easily wipe clean from just about any surface including your child; a SUPER bonus!
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE LeapFrog PRE-K PRODUCTS?
1 & 2. A Colors, Shapes & Numbers Dry Erase Practice and Kindergarten Skills Book that contain learning activities such as tracing letters, numbers, and shapes, connecting words to objects, shape counting and sorting, completing patterns, recognizing the differences between objects, opposites, etc.
3. A Printing Practice Writing Tablet
4. A Dry Erase Board for practicing writing and drawing
5. Colorful Alphabet Flash Cards
Additionally, the kit comes with a set of 8 dry erase crayons, a jumbo sharpener, 1 dry erase marker, and a Success Chart Award Certificate and Sticker book (like the one in the image below). It’s great for organizing your child’s goals for the week. What more could you ask for!
In addition to all of the skills your child(ren) will learn above, it is an excellent tool for helping them to develop their fine motor skills! It’s been amazing watching Alivia improve in as little as a day! And at the rate she’s going, I’d be surprised if I have any stickers left to reward her with! Go Alivia!
WHERE CAN YOU PURCHASE THESE PRODUCTS?
Fabulous question. First, these products are available for ages 3 and up and are super affordable ranging anywhere from $0.99 – $24.99. They are currently available at major retailers including: Barnes & Noble ($29.95), Toys “R” Us, Michaels, Joann’s, Officemax, Staples, Costco, Walmart, and Target or online at Amazon, OFFICEWORLD, and RoseArt. At Target and Walmart, they are located near the stationery and writing instruments, rather than the toys or school supplies.
Please feel free to drop me a comment if you purchase any of these products; I’d love to hear what you think!
